Kolar: K S Eshwarappa on Monday guaranteed that the BJP had assured him of the ticket to contest from the Shimoga Assembly constituency in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to the journalist, he said “Issues with respect to the party’s official candidate from Shimoga Assembly have been cleared. I will remain off from Sangolli Rayanna brigade as the party has guaranteed me the ticket,”
“The Congress will fail miserably because of factionalism and infighting. Like before, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will doubtlessly guarantee KPCC president G Parameshwara’s defeat in Koratagere,” he said.
Eshwarappa named IPS Officers’ (Karnataka) Association president ADGP RP Sharma’s letter to Chief Secretary K Ratna Prabha about political interference in the examination of key cases as the greatest deceptive incidents ever.
“The state government’s request for an enquiry about the letter demonstrated Siddaramaiah’s authoritarian mentality,” Eshwarappa said.
“The assault on Lokayukta justice Vishwanath P Shetty, R P Sharma’s letter and Mohammad Nalapad’s assault on Vidwath plainly reflect the government’s failure over controlling organization,” he charged.
