BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal booked for provocative speech

Mudhol: A case has been registered against BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal at the Mudhol police station on Friday, following allegations of delivering an inflammatory speech.

The incident reportedly occurred during a public meeting held at Shivaji Circle on the night of September 19, during the immersion of the Janata Raja Ganesh idol.

According to the Bagalkote district Superintendent of Police Amarnath Reddy, a suo motu case has been registered as the speech was provocative throughout, potentially disrupting social harmony.
