BJP MLA, Jeevaraj Clarifies on His Controversial Statement on Gauri Lankesh

Chikkamagaluru: BJP leader, Sringeri MLA, DN Jeevaraj has given clarification following a controversy over his statement on senior journalist, social activist Gauri Lankesh during his speech addressing the BJP workers in a public meeting at Koppa in Chikkamagaluru district on Wednesday.

The MLA reportedly kick stared Mangaluru Chalo Rally at Koppa and stated in his speech that, Gauri Lankesh should not have murdered if she shouldn’t have written a sentence ‘murder of cheddis’ (murder of RSS workers, leaders) in an article of her weekly Kannada tabloid, ‘Gauri Lankesh Patrike’ recently. The MLA clarified that his statement misunderstood by the audience and online users after it gone viral on the internet.
