BJP MLA Renukacharya abuses cops during bandh, video goes viral

Shivamogga: Honnali BJP MLA Renukacharya has wound up in a new controversy after a video of him manhandling cops amid a bandh call given by the BJP against H D Kumaraswamy-drove coalition government became viral .
The episode happened in Honnali when BJP leaders drove by Renukacharya observed bandh in Shivamogga on Monday May 28. Circle inspector Ramesh and ASI Kadadevaramatha are said to have asked the BJP leaders to forgo the bandh persuasively. The BJP leaders did not pay regard to rehashed demands from the cops and cautioned that they would hold bike rally.
At the point when the circle inspector endeavored to bring the circumstance under control, Renukacharya and his supporters started a war of words with the cops. The MLA is claimed to have mishandled the cop according to the video which is becoming viral on social media.
As per different reports, the MLA and zilla panchayath part M R Mahesh alias Huccha Venkat were in an intoxicated state while observing the bandh.
Responding to the viral video, Renukacharya stated, “I am a responsible MLA, for what reason do I have to damaging dialect? In spite of the fact that we were watching the bandh in a quiet way, the cops attempted to stop us. We are in a majority rule nation and we restricted when they prevented us from protesting.”
