BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali Narrowly Escapes from Alleged Assault Attempt in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Karnataka BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali has narrowly escaped from an alleged assault attempt by the members of Koli community in the state capital here on Wednesday. Koli community members who arrived from various parts of the state reportedly turned violent after MLA rejected their request to meet NDA candidate for next presidential elections, Ramnath Kovind when he was on his visit to Bengaluru on July 5, reports said.
Violent Koli community members tried to attack BJP MLA, however, the police were managed to send him from the spot to another safe location. The persons who attempted to attack Arvind Limbavali reportedly turned violent after he rejected their request to meet Ramnath Kovind and later he reluctant speak with them when they asked to handover a bouquet to Ramnath Kovind. The incident occurred in-front of a private hotel here after Kovind left the hotel as scheduled.
