BJP MLAs lobby for ministerial position; MP Kumaraswamy meets Nalin Kumar Kateel

Mangaluru: As the expansion of Karnataka cabinet is getting delayed, the list of ministerial aspirants has increased.
Now, Moodigere MLA MP Kumaraswamy has met BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel and requested for ministerial position. He claimed that he is one of the ministerial aspirants and urged Kateel to support him.
Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said he was awaiting word from the party’s central leadership on whether he should expand or reshuffle his Cabinet.
On Thursday, Nov 19, ministerial aspirants held talks with BJP state president Nalin Kumar and also Chief minister’s political secretary MP Renukacharya, Mayakonda MLA N Linganna, Navalgund MLA Shankar B Patil Munenakoppa are said to have reached out to Kateel, apparently to secure his support to become ministers.
