BJP MP demands strict action against miscreants who placed gravel, stones on railway tracks in M’luru

Mangaluru: BJP MP Brijesh Chowta has urged authorities to swiftly apprehend those responsible for deliberately placing gravel and stones on the railway tracks near Ullal here.

Speaking in Mangaluru, he pointed out that the act posed a serious risk to trains passing through the area and demanded strict action against the accused.

“I have already discussed the matter with the concerned police and railway department officials. This is the first such incident reported in the Dakshina Kannada district,” he stated.

Further, he condemned the act as an assault on national property and labeled it as an act of treason. He called on the community to be vigilant and identify individuals with such destructive mindsets, emphasizing that it is a collective responsibility to protect the nation’s assets.
