Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) declared its fourth list by naming 7 candidates. The party has handled actor Jaggesh from Yeshwantpur Constituency and has dropped Vijayendra’s name from Varuna constituency.

Other candidates are: G R Pravin Patil – Bhadravati, Jaggesh-Yeshwantpur,     Lallesh Reddy-B T M Layout, Smt. H Lilavathi-Ramanagara, Smt. Nandini Gowda-Kanakapura, H K Suresh-Belur, J Preetham Gowda-Hassan.

With this list, the party has declared candidates for 220 seats out of aggregate 224. In spite of the fact that the party has not named contender for Varuna Assembly Constituency, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa removed his son from challenging in Varuna. Rather, he will work towards the triumph of around 20 party candidates in the Mysuru-Chamarajanagar district.

The party’s choice not to field Vijayendra left numerous party activists baffled. Tension prevailed in the area after they blocked Vijayendra’s car and insisted on his candidature. Police resorted to mild lathi charge to bring the situation under control after angry supporters threw chairs from the podium.

BJP has handled Sandalwood actor Jaggesh from Yeshwanthpur.

BJP is probably going to field former IPS officer and Lingayat leader Revannasiddiah from Varuna, who quit Congress as of late.
