BJP Sets Sept 26 as Deadline for Resignation of Karnataka Minister KJ George

Bengaluru: Karnataka state BJP unit staged protests in Bengaluru on Saturday morning to demand the resignation of state minister KJ George inconnection with his alleged role in the death of DYSP MK Ganapati last year. State BJP leaders including MLAs, MPs and party workers were participated in the protests led by Karnataka BJP President BS Yeddyurappa (BSY).
Speaking in the protest rally held at Mourya circle in the city, BSY set September 26 as deadline for Bengaluru Urban Development Minister KJ George to resign as a state minister. If KJ George fails to do so, then BJP will hold mass protests in Karnataka until the minister moves out of the state cabinet, BSY added.
BSY also urged Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to dismiss KJ George from the cabinet if he is reluctant to resign. Vehicle traffic blocked at Mourya circle following the protests and passengers found it difficult to move on the roads due to huge crowd.
