BJP Stages Huge Protest in Bengaluru to Condemn Alleged Misuse of ACB by State Govt

Bengaluru: BJP organized protests at Mysore Bank circle in Bengaluru alleging Karnataka state government is misusing Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to trap party’s senior leaders. The protests held in the wake of FIR registered by ACB against former Karnataka chief minister, state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY)recently. In a FIR, ACB stated that, in an alleged land scam BSY violated law to denotify Shivarama Karantha layout in the state capital during his tenure as chief minister.
Thousands of party leaders, workers including BBMP members, MLAs, MPs and others led by senior BJP leader R Ashok staged protests at the bank circle and condemned the move of Congress led state government against BJP leaders in Karnataka.
