Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to hold a two-day protest against the state government, slated to take place at various district and mandal levels on Monday and Tuesday. The demonstrations are set to address concerns ranging from government corruption to enforcement of guarantees, law and order, and overall governance failures, including drought management.

A high-level meeting convened under the leadership of State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, accompanied by State Organization General Secretary Rajesh and State General Secretary N. Ravikumar, culminated in the decision to launch a large-scale agitation in Bengaluru, with Freedom Park as the probable venue. The participation of state leaders and activists is anticipated.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, addressing the press after the meeting, voiced strong discontentment with the current state government. He unequivocally called for the resignation of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.

District presidents have been entrusted with leading the protests in their respective districts, while mandal presidents will oversee activities in their respective mandals, he said.

Nalin further accused the state government of soliciting bribes from artists performing in the Mysuru Dasara celebrations.
