BJP to stage protest against Karnataka Govt in Bengaluru on Monday

Bengaluru: BJP will organise protests in the state capital on February 20 and submit a complaint to the governor against the state government alleging the ministers of the state cabinet have indulged in various corruption scandals, said Karnataka BJP president BS Yeddyurappa speaking at state BJP office in Bengaluru on Saturday. BJP will stage protests before the town-hall of Bengaluru city on Monday at 11 AM. A complaint on the corruption scandals will be submitted to the governor soon after the protests.
Speaking to the press reporters, BJP state party convener CN Ashwath Narayan alleged that it is known fact that Karnataka congress party unit has made an unaccounted contribution of Rs 1000 crore to the congress high command. This fact has been mentioned in a diary found at the residence of congress MLC Govindaraju during an IT raid. Also, an unaccounted money worth Rs 162 crore was also found in an IT raid at the residence of Karnataka state minister Ramesh Jarkiholi. In addition to the two cases, Rs 130 crore unaccounted property has also been found at the residence of Karnataka state member of legislative assembly MTB Nagaraj residence very recently in an IT raid, alleged BJP.
Blaming the chief minister on the alleged corruption scandals, Ashwath Narayan added that the chief minister hasn’t responded properly to all the corruption allegations. Also, according to the diary found at the residence of MLC Govindaraju, Congress party has received Rs 65 crore bribe in steel over bridge project.
Speaking on the CD released by the congress party members last week showing private conversation between Union Minister Anantha Kumar and BS Yeddyurappa stating that BJP was also bribed crores of rupees to its high command as like what congress party did by contributing Rs 1000 crore unaccounted money to the party high command. The BJP convener said that the conversations in the CD have been modified and an investigation is essential to prove the CD is fake.
