Bengaluru: The Opposition BJP on Saturday utilized the Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s “rear-view mirror” comment, which he used to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi, further bolstering to advantage.

Getting down on about the Congress’ ‘fraud’, BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa used Rahul’s expression to counter the amazing old gathering’s position on defilement. Yeddyurappa, who used twitter to inquire as to whether he could recognize his own particular party leaders who, he stated, were engaged with “land, mining and rape” scandals.

Yeddyurappa tweeted, “@OfficeOfRG, did the #RearViewMirror help you spot Santosh Lad, Anand Singh & Venugopal seated behind you and remind you of the land, mining & ‘rape scam’ (still wondering what it means)? Are Objects in the mirror closer than they appear?”

Directing his next question to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Yeddyurappa asked him if he had developed “selective amnesia”.

“@siddaramaiah, I would like to remind you about your Padayatre in 2013 about the mining sector. Now, inducting Anand Singh into your camp has only proved that you are a corrupt opportunist. Case of Selective Amnesia?” read the BJP leader’s tweet.

Prior in the day, Yeddyurappa had aped Siddaramaiah’s negativity, in inviting Rahul to Karnataka. At the point when Modi visited Bengaluru on February 4, Siddaramaiah had welcomed the leader to the “No 1 state”.

Yeddyurappa tweeted, “@OfficeOfRG, I welcome you to our great land of Karnataka. I wish that you ask your 10%CM on how the sorry states of affairs in Karnataka have left him unanswerable to the many questions I have asked.” Yeddyurappa was referring to the 14 questions he has posed on twitter to Siddaramaiah, on various controversial subjects.
