BJP will emerge victorious in over 80% GP seats: Kateel

Bengaluru: BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel on Sunday expressed confidence that the saffron party will emerge victorious in more than 80 percent of the Gram Panchayat seats.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Bharatiya Janata Party State office-bearers conference, Nalin predicted that BJP would secure the maximum number of seats in the upcoming GP elections.

“I have visited six districts and the tide seems to be favouring the BJP,” he said.

Further, he said that the party is working from the grass-root level and responsibilty has been allocated to over one lakh party workers in the state and youth workers account for over 60 per cent of this task force.

We are worling towards ensuring our victory in the Zilla panchayat, taluk panchayat elections to be held in three months from now, he said.

The Central governments implemented several farmer-friendly scheme such as PM Kisan Yojagana, Fasal Bima Yojana etc. PArty workers must ensure that everyone is made aware of the center/state’s farmer-friendly policies, said Kateel amid the ongoing farmer protests.

“Agriculture Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar has already written a letter to the farmers. We are sure that the farmers will be convinced by the letter,” he said.
