BJP will not invite Shiroor seer to join the party: Ratnakar Hegde

Udupi: District BJP said that it will not invite Shirror swamiji to join the party nor support him to contest as its candidate.
Addressing the media here, district BJP president Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde said that, after swamijis press meet I met him and also received Prasad from him. He has spoken in support of Congress minister Pramod Madhwaraj and claimed that BJP ministers haven’t done much to the development of Udupi district. Seer has shared close relations with the BJP party since three decades. After criticizing BJP party, he is willing to contest on BJP’s ticket. He should give clarification on his stand.”
“We will welcome people to join our party, but I will not entertain Shirror swamiji to join the party. However, the BJP party would make the final decision,” he said.
