Blast in Sri Lankan Town near Colombo, no casualties: Police

Colombo: Days after a series of bomb blasts killed 359 people and injured several others in Sri Lanka, another explosion was reported from a town east of Colombo, on Thursday.

According to reports there were no human casualties reported in this incident which took place on empty land behind the magistrate’s court in Pugoda, 40 km.

The police investigating the blast said that this was not a controlled explosion like other blasts in recent days.
