B’luru: 19-yo killed over Rs 1,200 hand loan availed by his friend

A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death after a verbal arguments between friends took a ugly turn here in Amruthnagar.

The deceased is identified as Mohammed Jilani, a TV mechanic from Chunchanakatte near Konanakunte.

The incident took place on Tuesday when a fight erupted over a Rs 1,200 loan availed by a Mani, a mutual friend of Jeelani and Kiran. However a compromise was reached between the groups following intervention of the local residents

Later in the day, Kiran and few others confronted Jilani when he was hanging out with his friends. They again fought over the unpaid loan and in the melee the group stabbed Jilani and fled from the spot. Jilani later died at a hospital.

Konanakunte police have registered a case and are searching for the suspects.
