B’luru: 42-year-old woman murdered in front of son; Husband, daughter arrested

Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested seven people in connection with the murder case of a 42-year-old woman in Bengaluru.
The victim Archana was hacked to death in front of her 13-year-old son and chauffeur in at Hosa Road Junction near Electronics City, South Bengaluru on Monday, December 28 night.
The arrested accused have been identified as Yuvika (21), Archana’s daughter Naveen(33), Atchana’s husband and his aides Santosh Kumar (29), Anupam Singa (24), Narendra (30) and Anand (29).
Archana’s daughter, Yuvika from her first husband was in a relationship with her second husband, Naveen. After which, Archana threw Naveen out of the house and Yuvika too left the house to be with Naveen
It is said that Yuvika was also demanding her share in the ancestral property, which Archana refused. At the same time, Archana had befriended another person named Rohith with whom she was planning to trouble Naveen.
Yuvika conveyed the information to Naveen who then hatched a plan to kill Archana along with his friends.
The accused are in police custody for interrogation.
