Bengaluru: A police sub-inspector sustained injuries after a motorist allegedly dragged him on his car bonnet for 300 meters near Upkar Layout under Jnanabharathi police limits.

The cop, Mahesh had gone out for a walk post lunch when he noticed a couple in a compromising position inside a parked car on a public road near the park.

He thus knocked on the car window and the youth in the car jumped to the driving seat and put the car into ignition. Mahesh who was standing in front of the car climbed onto the bonnet as the youth began to drive.

Mahesh fell out of the car when the motorist applied brakes after reversing the vehicle. Due to the impact of the accident, Mahesh has injured his head and a few other parts. Locals shifted him to the hospital.
