A woman has lodged a complaint with the Kumaraswamy Layout Police accusing a doctor and a male nurse at a local hospital of misbehavior while under the influence of alcohol.
On November 3, the victim Sneha, a resident of Maruthi Layout, Vasanthapura visited the Pragathi Multispeciality Hospital for health concerns.
In her complaint she alleged that Dr. Pradeep and nurse Mahendra, who were on duty, pricked an injection incorrectly in multiple areas, causing her pain. When she questioned them, the two allegedly responded inappropriately.
The complainant’s relatives reportedly confronted the hospital’s medical staff. As the situation escalated, the doctor and nurse allegedly fled the scene.
Authorities have issued a notice to both individuals for an inquiry.
