Bengaluru: Frustrated over father’s deteriorating health condition post-COVID-19, his son allegedly thrashed a doctor and nurse in a Bengaluru hospital.
Now, the Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association (PHANA) demanded a probe into the incident.
In a letter addressed to Home and Law Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the Association said the healthcare workers were hopeful of a statement from the Minister or CM Yediyurappa over the issue.  They also demanded strict action against the accused.
The accused has been identified as Jagadish (26), a resident of Devarachikkanahalli off Bannerghatta Road

It is said the doctor was explaining to the family about the patient’s worsening lung infection, when he allegedly flung his phone in the doctor’s face and attacked him and a nurse.
