B’luru: Five men thrash mobile shop owner for playing Hanuman Chalisa during namaz

Five individuals allegedly assaulted the owner of a mobile shop after he played Hanuman chalisa in his shop during namaz in Halasur.
The victim, identified as Mukesh, was attacked by a group of youths. Police have confirmed the detention of five individuals in connection with the assault.
According to reports, Mukesh owns a mobile service shop in Nagarpet. On Sunday evening, he played Hanuman chalisa in his shop, which reportedly caused disturbance to a group of youths performing Namaz nearby. Enraged by the loud noise, the youths entered Mukesh’s shop and vandalized it.
Subsequently, they forcefully dragged Mukesh out of the shop and subjected him to a brutal assault, leaving him injured. Mukesh is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.
