Bengaluru: State-owned Horticultural Producers Co-operative Marketing and Processing Society Limited (HOPCOMS) has started a pilot doorstep delivery service of fruits and vegetables in Koramangala amid lockdown.

The farmers’ society has launched a mobile app ‘HOPCOMS Online’ to allow customers to order online. The customers can download the ‘HOPCOMS ONLINE’ app from Google  Play Store and send their orders online to HOPCOMS.

The app shows the available products and the price and customers need to place the order a day before by evening.  With the help of delivery partners the HOPCOMS will deliver the orders to the customer’s doorstep by the next morning

The HOPCOMS will extend the home delivery services across the city after seeing the success of the pilot project.

It said that it’s received orders worth ₹17,000 in the last two weeks in Koramangala.
