B’luru: KSRTC conductor punches, kicks woman passenger; arrested

Police arrested a 58-year-old conductor of a KSRTC bus for allegedly assaulting a woman passenger after a verbal argument on Tuesday morning.
The victim, Sirajunnisa, 39, a resident of T Dasarahalli in her complaint said that she had boarded the bus from Chikkamagaluru’s Koppa with her two children. Upon reaching T Dasarahalli at around 5 am she alighted from the bus however the conductor Ravi got angry when her children did not alight quickly.
This led to an argument between them and the conductor in a fit of rage punched and kicked the woman passenger.
An injured Sirajunnisa notified the police about the assault who rushed to the spot and apprehended Ravi.
