B’luru: Man accused of sexual assaulting his 4.5-yo daughter

In a shocking incident, a father has been accused of sexually assaulting his 4.5-year-old daughter in Bengaluru.

Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s mother, Ramamurthy Nagar Police has booked the accused Amresh, a resident of Byrathi under the POCSO Act

Reportedly Amaresh and his wife are involved in an ongoing family dispute in court. As per court instructions, the mother would send her two children to their father’s house every Sunday.

Similarly on Sunday, around 11 AM, she dropped the children at Amaresh’s house. When she returned to pick them up at 2 PM she noticed her daughter was crying. She took the child to a private hospital for examination, the doctors confirmed that the child had been sexually assaulted.

The mother has filed a formal complaint against her husband.
