B’luru: Man records women’s photos & videos at park without consent; arrested

Bengaluru: A man who was recording videos of women strollers at a park without their consent was caught by the public and handed over to the police.
The accused has been identified as Prasanna (38), a resident of Jayanagar 7th Block. The accused worked as a marketing executive at a private firm in Bengaluru.
The incident occurred on the evening of March 31 at the Akkamahadevi Park in Jayanagar’s 4th block. A woman named Shilpa and her friend were on an evening walk when the accused started following them with a mobile in his hand.
Shilpa informed the locals who were nearby about the suspicious behavior of Prasanna. The locals caught Prasanna and checked his mobile and found the videos of Shilpa and her friend recorded on it. They also found several other videos of women, who regularly visited the park for a walk.
Later, he was handed over to the Jayanagar police.
