Bengaluru: A non-cognizable report has been filed against Mohammed Nalapad, son of MLA N.A. Haris, for allegedly threatening the vice-president of the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee, Bhavya K R.
NCR was registered following a complaint by Bhavya. In NCR cases, police officials can not register an FIR or carry out investigation without the court’s permission
It is said that Bhavya was threatened by Nalapad during a quarrel that took place while a Covid war room was being set up at the party’s office. Bhavya also claimed that she was threatened while campaigning for the Congress party in the Basavakalyan bypolls
Earlier in March 2021, Nalapad was booked by the Vyalikaval police for allegedly assaulting a party worker
