B’luru: Notorious rowdy sheeter Chikka Chetu arrested under Goonda Act

Bengaluru: Notorious rowdy-sheeter Chetan Kumar alias Chikka Chetu has been arrested by Bagalgunte police under the Goonda Act.
Chetan Kumar, a resident of ITI layout in Nagarbhavi, has rowdy sheets at Chandra Layout, Annapoorneshwari Nagar and Bagalgunte police stations.
Since 2012, He has been involved in criminal activities with several cases including murder, extortion, dacoity, issuing death threats, and assault registered against him in several police stations in the city. After securing bail, he violated bail conditions on several occasions, police said.
As he continued his intimidation tactics against the public, the Bagalgunte police station Inspector H B Sunil had submitted a report to the police commissioner for booking and arrest him under the stringent Goonda Act.
The report was approved by the police commissioner, following which the accused was arrested under the provisions of the Goonda Act, police said.
