Bengaluru: As part of the 14-day partial lockdown announced in Karnataka, vehicles are prohibited to ply and police have been given the authority to seize vehicles plying on roads.

Vehicles will be allowed only in case of a medical emergency or to commute to hospitals or healthcare centers for vaccination but with proof. However, a few are still not following lockdown rules and are roaming unnecessarily

Similarly, an auto-rickshaw driver was found roaming on the streets near KR Pete market in Bengaluru. He was immediately stopped by the police officials and they began checking his documents

Also, while the document verification was underway, one of the police constable sat in the rickshaw. In a bid to escape from the police officials, the auto driver fleed from the spot with the constable sitting behind him.
