The deceased have been identified as Sinchana (30) from Thotanahalli and her eight-month-old fetus. Sinchana’s husband, Manjunath, who was riding the scooter, miraculously survived the accident.

Incident Details:

The couple were visiting the famous Shivagange temple in Hobli’s Dakshina Kashi. After offering prayers, they were returning home when the tragic accident occurred.

The tipper truck collided with their scooter, causing Sinchana to fall. The truck then ran over her, leading to her immediate death and her unborn child. Following the accident, the tipper truck driver fled the scene. A case has been registered at Nelamangala Traffic Police Station.

A grief-stricken Manjunath said that they had been married for just 10 months. “We were praying for a safe delivery and for my job to go well.
