B’luru: Woman, teen daughter killed after cement mixer truck topples over car

Bengaluru: A woman and her teenage daughter were killed after a concrete mixer truck toppled over their car at Kaggalipura Cross near Bannerghatta road, Bengaluru Rural.

The incident took place on Wednesday when the woman, Gayathri (46) was on the way to drop her daughter Samatha (15) at school.

As per reports the driver of the truck was speeding and lost control of the vehicle causing it to topple. Following the accident, the truck driver absconded from the spot.

The mortal remains of the mother-daughter duo were recovered after moving aside the concrete mixer truck with help of cranes and JCB.

Police have registered a case and a search is on for the absconding accused.
