Body of drowned youth found

Mangaluru: The dead body of a youth, who had drowned in the Kumardhara River here yesterday night was found on Friday, July 3.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash (26), son of Doltila resident Ramanna Nayak.
As per reports, Prakash and his friends had arrived at the river for fishing. He had left the fishing net in the river and later when he came to carry it back he is said to have slipped and drowned the river.
The Puttur Fire emergency team and police arrived at the spot and a search was launched for his body. It was found today, a short distance from where the mishap took place.
