Body of missing teen found, brother arrested

Mangaluru: Days, after a 16-year-old girl went missing her decomposed skeleton, was found in the forest behind their house at Kambalapadavu at Pajir village near Ullal.
The deceased is Fiona Swedal Cutinho daughter of Francis Cutinho from Pajir.
As per the sources Fiona had been missing since from October 8, following which her parents had lodged a missing complaint with the Mudipu Police. The police investigating the case traced that the last network location of mobile of deceased Fiona was showing Mudipu as the area.
Based on this clue, the police interrogated the family members intensely and on Saturday, October 26 Samson Cutinho (18), brother of Fiona Cutinho to confessed to the crime and confirmed with the police that he had killed her and threw her body in the forest behind their house. Based on Samson’s confession the police traced Fiona’s body.
In his confession, Samson said that he killed his sister at home by bludgeoning her head with a hammer after they fough for some silly reason. Police have confiscated the hammer with which Samson killed his sister Fiona.
