Boiler explosion at sugar factory: 4 dead, 5 critical

Bagalkot: Four workers died and five others critically injured after a boiler exploded at the distillery unit of Nirani sugar plant at Kulali in Mudhol taluk on Sunday, December 16 afternoon.
Reportedly the unit has broken down due to the intensity of the explosion.
The injured workers have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
Nirani Sugars is owned by former Karnataka minister Murugesh Nirani.
A case has been registered with the Mudhol police.
