Bomb scare at MIA: Security heightened at major airports, railway stations of K’taka

Bengaluru/Udupi: Security has been heightened at major airports and railway stations of the state after an abandoned bag was found in Mangaluru Airport on Monday, January 20.

An unattended bag near ticket counters of the Mangaluru airport created a bomb scare on Monday, January 20. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which is maintaining the security of the airport, cordoned off the area.

According to some reports, two persons had come in an autorickshaw and placed the bag there. Police said they are verifying the CCTV footage.
