Brahmavar: In a tragic accident, a man was killed on Tuesday, October 12 as a car collided with the scooter he was travelling near Uppur.
The person is identified as Nagaraj (40) a native of Mandya. Reports said that he was employed at a rice mill and was residing at Kuthpady.
Sources said that Nagaraj was moving towards Sansthan on the national highway on his scooter when a car travelling in the same direction hit the vehicle from behind.
Nagaraj sustained severe injuries to the head and died at the spot, reports said.
Brahmavar police rushed to the spot to clear the traffic congestion.
