Brahmavar Police arrest 3 robbers, recovers material worth Rs. 20 lakhs

Brahmavar: The police have successfully arrested three most wanted inter-state robbers.
Dilip Shetty, resident of Shivapura’s Kerebetti, and Rajan and Shanmugham, residents of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu are the ones arrested.
As per the reports, a Santro car was making rounds near Havange village. At this point in time, the police stopped the car, and on inspection, they recovered iron rods and some silver jewellery.
As per the investigative reports, Dilip along with Rajan, Kutti Vijayan, and Sajit Varghese had used Santro and Omni cars to travel from Bengaluru to Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi districts for robbing houses. Dilip and the gang were wanted in five theft cases.
Meanwhile, Brahmavar Circle Inspector Anantha Padnambha and the team have successfully recovered gold jewellery worth Rs. 13 lakhs, silver jewellery worth Rs. 20,000, Santro and Omni cars worth Rs 5 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively.
It is also learned that Dilip was involved in several honey trapping cases.
