Brahmavar: Unemployed youth jumps into temple pond, dies

Brahmavar: An unemployed youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Lord Gurunarasimha temple pond here after offering prayers to the presiding deity inside the temple.

The deceased identified as Sunil Mogaveera, resident of Pandeshwar Yedabettu in Udupi district was reportedly suffering from depression as he did not have a regular job.

Locals who witnessed Sunil jump into the pond tried to rescue him but their efforts were futile.

Kota police visited the spot and are conducting an investigation.
