Brand new outlet of Jayalaxmi Silks inaugurated at Udupi

The new outlet of the renowned Jayalaxmi Silks was inaugurated on Thursday in a complex built at Bannanje on National Highway 169A.

Speaking at the inauguration, Retired MD & CEO of Karnataka Bank, Dr. Mahabaleshwara M.S., mentioned that Jayalaxmi Silks, a renowned textile store, has added beauty to Udupi’s colorful history. He expressed the belief that when a business succeeds, the town or city develops alongside it. He hoped that this venture would succeed and bring prosperity.

The first-floor saree department was inaugurated by Dr. G Shankar of the G Shankar Family Trust. He highlighted that the garment industry thrives when it offers high-quality fabrics and excellent customer service. He wished for the organization to achieve even greater heights.

The 5th-floor Branded Men’s Wear section was inaugurated by Haji Abdul Jaleel Saheb at the Udyavara Haleema Sabju Auditorium. The Ground Floor Handloom Department was inaugurated by Jerry Vincent Dias, the MD of Mandavi Builders. The 4th Floor Ethnic Wear Department was inaugurated by Ravi Chandran, the GM of Karnataka Bank.

On the third floor,  Lifestyle Section was inaugurated by Udupi SP Hakay Akshay Machhindra, Ethnic wear and Kids section by A M D’Souza of Anand Travels, and actors Daya Shetty and Harish, menswear sections were inaugurated by businessman Vasudeva Kamath, accountant Naveen Nayak, and the Ghagra section was inaugurated by actress Ansha.

Various other sections, such as the 3rd Floor Lifestyle Section and kids division, were inaugurated by different individuals, including Vasudeva Kamath, Naveen Naik, and Ansha.

Prominent individuals including Karnataka Assembly Speaker UT Khader, MLA Yashpal A Suvarna, District Collector Dr. K Vidya Kumari, former MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Kanchan Hyundai owner Prasadraj Kanchan, owners of Jayalaxmi Silks  Veerendra Hegde, Ravindra Hegde, Jayalaxmi Veerendra Hegde, and Aparna Ravindra Hegde, and others were present at the event.

Shalini G Shankar was the first customer to make a purchase at the new outlet. Karnataka Bank felicitated the owners of the enterprise.

Former Karnataka Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, inaugurated the 2nd-floor exquisite saree department. He expressed that Jayalaxmi Silks has given Udupi residents a glimpse into the world of textiles similar to how scientists observe Chandraloka (the moon). He believed that the business would undoubtedly succeed with sufficient focus on quality, guarantee, and service. He wished for the organization, currently holding the 2nd position in the state’s textile business, to achieve the 1st position in the future. He also recognized the organization’s contribution to employment generation.
