Brazilian documentary filmmaker Ernesto Galiotto dropped his iPhone 6s from a small plane’s window accidentally while trying to capture a video.
Galiotto claimed he found the phone near a beach by using GPS tracking and discovered it had survived the 300-metre drop. The phone had also recorded a video of the free fall.
According to India today, Galiotto had revealed that his phone was not in a hard armor case but it was covered in a transparent silicone case with a normal screen protector on the front. The only thing that was impacted was the screen protector other than that there was no major damage. “It’s something that, if you tell someone, they won’t believe,” Galiotto said.
Earlier, iPhones have also survived drowning in rivers and worked just fine after days and months of staying under water. In one of the cases, an iPhone saved a user from a bullet as well
