Brother-sister killed in fire mishap

Bengaluru: A brother and his sister were charred to death, while their parents sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out at their house at Cottonpete in Bengaluru on Monday morning.

The deceased are identified as Srikanth and his sister Kaveri. The parents of the victims are Murali and Geeta.

As per the sources, a short circuit in the house led to a major fire tragedy killing the two sibbling and injuring their parents.

Following the incident, the fire brigade rushed the spot and extinguished the fire. Meanwhile, Murali and Geeta were taken to a nearby hospital and are undergoing treatment there.

A case in this regard has been registered with the Cottonpete Police.
