BSF jawan from Hubbali dies of cardiac arrest in Cooch Behar of WB

Hubbali: Border Security Force (BSF) jawan Gangadharaiah Hiremath, resident of Rottigawad village of Kundagol taluk, died of a cardiac arrest on Saturday, August 27.
Reportedly, on Tuesday, August 23, Gangadharaiah had been to his hometown on a holiday.
He returned to duty in the Cooch Behar sector of West Bengal, five days back.
As per the sources from the BSF, on Saturday (August 27) he experienced severe chest pain, after which, he was rushed to a nearby hospital. By that time, he had breathed his last.
Meanwhile, his mortal remains were bought to his hometown on Sunday, August 28 morning.
It is learned that he was in service for the past 28 years and had informed his family of voluntary retirement in another two years.
