BSNL divisional engineer hacked to death

Kasaragod: Miscreants attacked BSNL divisional engineer to death in broad daylight at Bovikanam here on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sudhakar (55).
It has been reported that, Sudhakar was returning home when some unidentified men approached him and stabbed him to death. He was murdered at a distance of about 200 meters from his residence.
Investigation
Senior police officers reached the spot with personnel and took up investigations. Preliminary investigations suggested that he was murdered by his neighbor Radhakrishna over a land dispute.
After murdering Sudhakar, Radhakrishna committed suicide on a railway track. His mortal remains were found on the Kumbale railway track on Tuesday night, informed the police.
Radhakrishna and Sudhakar had a land dispute running from many years. Several times both have engaged in a verbal argument, but in the court case, the verdict favoured Sudhakar.
Radhakrishna’s mortal remains have been shifted to Kasargod general hospital. Sudhakar’s mortal remains had been shifted Periayarum Medical College, the police have informed.
