Bengaluru: Former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has said that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa carried six large bags along with him while leaving for Delhi on a special flight from here.
Speaking to reporters, Kumaraswamy said, “It is not known what were the contents of the bags. It is also unknown whether Yediyurappa took all six bags with him when he went to visit the prime minister yesterday. We may know about it in the coming days.”
Kumaraswamy added that he is waiting to see how the prime minister and the Central government will respond to the appeals that the chief minister would make to them.
Responding to the issue of the complaint being sent to the governor over illegal mining, he said that illegal mining is occurring at many places across the State. Adding that the government should take a decision on this, he, personally, and his party will support it.
