BSY chairs meet with high-level committee on Covid third wave

Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday held A meeting with the members of a high-level committee constituted by the Karnataka government “to analyze, advice and control Covid-19 third wave.”

BS Yeddiyurappa said that the committee has advised the government to reopen schools and colleges in phases. Also, in order to tackle the third wave a separate Children’s unit will be set up in taluk hospitals.

The committee submitted an interim report to the government after which strategy was discussed in the presence of committee chairman Dr Devi Prasad Shetty, Home and Law Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar, and other members were present.
