BSY distributes books to students who lost their textbooks, notebooks during K’taka floods

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa distributed books to three children, who had lost their textbooks and notebooks after flood water entered their houses in Hosakerehalli, South Bengaluru.
Reportedly, Yediyurappa handed over notebooks, besides giving Rs 5,000 to each of them to purchase textbooks after inviting them to his home.
According to the Chief Minister’s office, Yediyurappa interacted with Sanjana, Spandana, and Ramesh and told them to focus on studies. On Friday night after heavy rain in Bengaluru, several areas in the city were hit by floods.
