BSY, Eshwarappa react to Vinay Kulkarni’s arrest

Mangaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Thursday, November 5 reacting to the arrest of Vinay Kulkarni in connection with the Yogesh Gowda murder case said that the accused should be punished.

Speaking with this regard in Mangaluru Yediyurappa said, “The CBI sleuths might have taken Vinay into custody only after they found proof against him.”

“Yogesh’s family should get justice in this case,” he said.

Meanwhile, minister Eshwarappa said, “CBI’s decision to take Vinay Kulkarni into their custody however I will be happy if he walks out free.”

“No matter what Vijay Kulkarni will not be allowed to join BJP,” he added.

The CBI took former minister and Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni into custody on Thursday, November 5 morning in connection with the murder of former Zilla Panchayat member Yogeeshgouda Goudar in 2016.
