BSY inaugurates 150-bed oxygenated Covid-19 treatment centre at KIA

Bengaluru: Chief Minister on Wednesday, May 19 BS Yediyurappa inaugurated a 150-bed, oxygenated Covid-19 treatment centre at Bengaluru airport on Wednesday afternoon.
Located near the cargo terminals at the airport, the facility will be equipped to treat patients with mild hypoxia.
According to airport officials, it is designed to be a transit oxygen delivery centre, which would provide “much-needed relief and treatment for patients requiring oxygen support until they are able to get admission in a hospital.”
