Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has advised industries to resume operations in some of the districts except containment zones across the state.
However, malls, theatres and liquor shops are still closed in the state. But it is said that government is now planning to allow liquor shops, shopping malls and several other commercial activities to operate in the coming week
It is said that the fresh directives were likely to come from the Centre by May 4, following which Karnataka government will take a decision on more economic activities like opening of salons, liquor shops, malls and cinema halls among others.
Also, the state is planning to restrict containment zones to a few specific streets instead of imposing a complete lockdown.
