‘BSY promised to give me RS ticket after I was denied LS ticket’

Bengaluru: A BJP ticket aspirant for Rajya Sabha, Ramesh Katti said that after he was denied the BJP Lok Sabha ticket from Chikkodi last year, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had promised to give him a Rajya Sabha seat.
Addressing presspersons Ramesh said, “It’s time for Yediyurappa to fulfill his promise made to me last year when I was denied Lok Sabha ticket from Chikkodi as RS will fall vacant and the election for the same will be held soon.”
He further said that his brother Ramesh is a gem of a person. ” Ramesh is capable enough and I’m sure that he will get a ministerial berth soon. But what about my political future?. I still don’t know why I was denied the Lok Sabha ticket,,” Katti questioned
“I am a disciplined soldier of the party. I will accept the decision of party leadership,” said Katti replying to a query on his next move if he was denied Rajya Sabha ticket.
